How to Open
These cobalt blue water bottles are quite simple to open. Please take a moment to watch the video below to learn about the convenience of one-handed opening.
This is great for driving and other activities that require at least one hand to continue while you drink your water. Otherwise, you can use your two thumbs to press on the bent-wire connectors on either side of the bottle to push the lever open. DO NOT try to lift the wire bail that is firmly clamped to the bottle. This can result in fingernail breakage or a sore finger. These bottles are quite easy to open, once you get the hang of it.
Remember to always open the cap towards the same side as the semi-circle wire bail. If the cap ends up on the wrong side of the bottle, as in this photo below remember, it is not broken, it just needs to be realigned:
