If you are not familiar with opening Swing Top Caps, this video will teach you how to open with one hand. This is great for driving and other activities that require at least one hand to continue while you drink your water.  Otherwise, you can use your two thumbs to press on the bent-wire connectors on either side of the bottle to push the lever open. DO NOT try to lift the wire bail that is firmly clamped to the bottle. This can result in fingernail breakage or a sore finger. These bottles are quite easy to open, once you get the hang of it

Remember to always open the cap towards the same side as the semi-circle wire bail.

If the cap ends up on the wrong side of the bottle, as in this photo here remember, it is not broken,  it just needs to be realigned.
